Dealing with Online Shopping Cart Issues
In an article by Shivashankar Naidu and Barbara S. Chaparro titled "Top Ten Mistakes of Shopping Cart Design Revisited" they list out the most common mistakes users encounter with e-commerce shopping carts and how online retailers can make the online shopping experience a complete success.
It's not rocket science (sort of), but it does require that web designers and usability teams to consider the unique differences between online and offline shopping experiences the User will face.
